MARCUS GEETER has dedicated over twenty years of his life traveling the world, making women and men look their best for magazine covers, editorials, national and international advertising campaigns, television and film.

His artistry has graced the faces of Academy Award winners HALLE BERRY and JENNIFER HUDSON, groomed music giants RINGO STARR, USHER and R. KELLY, as well as mega athletes MICHAEL JORDAN, BRIAN BOITANO, MICHAEL ANDRETTI and RYAN SANDBURG.

Marcus Geeter has an extensive advertising client list that includes VICTORIA’S SECRET, L’OREAL, CLAIROL, PANTENE, as well as many others.

His artistry has graced the advertising pages of VOGUE, BAZAAR, and MENS VOGUE and the covers and editorial pages of MARTHA STEWART LIVING, ESSENCE, EBONY, WOMAN'S DAY, SOPHISTICATES BLACK HAIR, SHAPE, WORKING MOTHER, COMPLETE WOMAN, and PEOPLE magazines.

Geeter traveled with the group, MISS 2 AND THE CREW, and has groomed some of the rising stars of JIVE RECORDS, RCA RECORD and SONY MUSIC. He also traveled for seven years as the private makeup artist of author, fitness expert and 3 time MS International winner LAURA CREAVALLE.

Salon Sense magazine named Marcus as one of the top 100 professionals in the beauty business in 2000 and one of the top 50 professionals in 2004, 2005 and 2006 .

"Giving of yourself" is very important states Geeter. He has volunteered time to LAWRENCE HALL YOUTH SERVICES, INNER VOICE WOMEN'S SHELTER and has been a guest speaker for LOOKING GOOD AND FEELING GOOD, and YES WE CAN, which are support groups for cancer patients as well as the NAMASTE BREAST CANCER SYMPOSIUM. Marcus also serves on the Board of Directors of ANIMAL ASSISTANCE FUND, which is a nonprofit organization aiding no-kill animal shelters.

Marcus Geeter has appeared on the NBC 5 morning show, 190 North and numerous other local shows. He is a frequent beauty contributor to the ABC7 morning news in Chicago and is the host of EBQ Beauty News, an online beauty news show.

Geeter is the author of the critically acclaimed inspirational books, COME IN, OUT OF THE RAIN and MENDING BRIDGES. His poetry has appeared along with other national and international poets in the following collections: A SEA OF TRANQUILITY, EXPRESSIONS OF THE HEART, PATHWAYS, and TREASURED POEMS OF AMERICA.
